Accessibility Statement

Accessibility: to us, it’s more than just a word!
At La Pettegola, inclusion comes with a capital “I” — we want everyone (and we mean everyone!) to enjoy our website without barriers.
This accessibility statement explains what we’re doing to make our digital world more welcoming and compliant with the new standards coming into force on June 28, 2025.
Because elegance feels more authentic when it’s for everyone. And we’re here, day after day, to improve the experience of those who choose us.

Accessibility Statement
Drafted in accordance with Legislative Decree of May 27, 2022, No. 82 – based on Decision (EU) 2018/1523

La Pettegola Banfi is committed to making its website accessible, in compliance with Legislative Decree of May 27, 2022, No. 82, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882.

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.lapettegolabanfi.it/

COMPLIANCE STATUS
Partially compliant

Despite our ongoing efforts to make the website fully accessible, we currently declare partial compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, due to a disproportionate burden in terms of financial and organizational resources needed to fully resolve some issues.

Specifically, fully meeting all success criteria of WCAG 2.2 would require financial and human resources that are not currently available or sustainable, or structural changes that could impact the continuity or stability of our digital environment. As of now, this prevents us from eliminating every barrier.

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 level A accessibility standards, due to the non-compliance cases listed below.

NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

The following content is not accessible for the reasons specified:

  • The contrast of some white button text does not meet the minimum 4.5:1 ratio
  • Some pink text elements do not meet the minimum contrast requirement of 4.5:1;
  • Presence of text images with alternative descriptions that are not sufficiently descriptive;
  • Partially incorrect HTML code;
  • Some images may lack proper alt text;
  • Certain elements may not correctly communicate their functionality;
  • The map may not be accessible;
  • The cookie modal may not be accessible;
  • PDF files may not be accessible.

OUR COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

We’re committed to making ongoing improvements to the accessibility of our website. Here’s what we’re doing:

  • Ongoing monitoring: We will periodically assess the accessibility of our site, staying aligned with evolving technologies and regulations.
  • Progressive enhancements: We’ll prioritize improvements where critical issues are found or where usage is highest.
  • Open to feedback: We welcome user suggestions and feedback about accessibility — they are essential for shaping our next steps. Feel free to reach out using the feedback mechanism on the site to let us know about any accessibility concerns.

Our goal is to offer an inclusive browsing experience for everyone. We’re determined to progressively eliminate barriers, in line with available resources and the strategic priorities of our organization.
