Enrica Mannari and time

Second stage: Campiglia Marittima

After having broken the ice with the first stage of the Live, Love, La Pettegola tour, Enrica Mannari’s van travelled to Campiglia Marittima for the second appointment, this time dedicated to the theme of time. In the shade of the olive trees, time seems softer and slower, particularly when conversations are accompanied by a cool glass of La Pettegola.

Time is something that we always perceive as fleeting, and – particularly during the holidays – as extremely limited.

Time was the subject chosen by Enrica Mannari and her four friends for the second stage of the Live, Love, La Pettegola tour.

The van travelled to Campiglia Marittima, where the subject of time, its management and its perception, lent additional heat to a sunny afternoon.

“We all have our own time machine. Some, our memories, take us back to the past. Others, our dreams, take us to the future.”

Dreams, memories, expectations, waiting. There never seems to be enough time, however much we try and chase it, never managing to keep up. This is why we need to slow down, to understand that time is the most precious thing, and the most beautiful gift we can give to others.

Making peace with time seems to have become the key challenge of our era.

During this stage, La Pettegola and Enrica Mannari’s guests gave us their idea of time. Some said that time becomes less if we stop using it to do what we want, and only use it to do what we have to. Others stressed how, nowadays, time is a privilege.
