So I imagined two women in cahoots: one dressed as a little bird whispering in the other’s ear, letting the most precious gossip flow freely. I surrounded them with floral motifs and Art Nouveau–style decorations, creating a secret garden where confidences float lightly like feathers.”

When Banfi asked Quasirosso to create the label for the Limited Edition 2026 of La Pettegola, the artist embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. For the illustration, Quasirosso reinterpreted the popular saying “a little bird told me…,” creating two women in cahoots in a secret garden: one dressed as a little bird whispers in the other’s ear, releasing the most precious gossip. Floral motifs and Art Nouveau–style decorations intertwine to create a unique work, made of complicity, play, and decorative beauty, where confidences float lightly like feathers.

Quasirosso
After studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, Giovanni Esposito, known as Quasirosso, began his career publishing in some underground magazines of the Campania scene. In 2017 he created Quasirosso, a Facebook page of strips and illustrations that achieved considerable success, later establishing itself on Instagram.
From 2019 to 2025 he published six graphic novels and the illustration collection “Baci dal Cinema” (Kisses from Cinema) with Feltrinelli Comics.
At the same time, he participated in film distribution campaigns for movies by directors such as Guadagnino and Lanthimos, creating variant posters.
He currently works as an illustrator and content creator, collaborating with brands including Prada, Gucci, Apple, Disney, and with various publishing houses in Italy and abroad.
